Gravity Lab! game full of fun flinging and chain reactions

Gravity Lab! by Mobile Snap is another game in which you fling something across the screen in order to knock something else over. But there’s a twist, of course, and a delightful one at that, making the game worthwhile.

As you might expect from the title, the twist has something to with gravity. And you would be correct in making that assumption. The goal here is to knock over blocks in order to make the block hit stars, as you can’t hit the stars directly. The twist is that different colored blocks fall in different directions; some fall down, some fall up, some fall left and right.

The goal, then, is to create a chain reaction in order to knock over all the blocks and hit all the stars. Adding to the fun are things like bouncy walls and bombs! Yay!

This system is more complicated than it sounds. While it usually is quite simple to get a chain reaction that knocks over all the blocks, it’s harder to make those blocks fall just the right way in order to make them hit the stars.

And that’s the hook. You’ll try stages over and over again in an attempts to fling your little dude across the stage at just the right angle in order to knock those blocks over just right.

You can get up to three stars for completing a stage, and you can move to the next stage by getting just one, but I never felt satisfied when I didn’t collect all the stars. This is the kind of game that is going to give me an aneurysm some day.

Gravity Lab! is a steal at $0.99, and it’s as addictive as you would expect a game about flinging something across the screen to be. I can’t think of a significant downside to this purchase.
