Appolicious Showcase: Lich Defense

Lich Defense is not your run-of-the-mill Tower Defense game. In fact, there is nothing ordinary about it at all. Learn for yourself by downloading the free game right now on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Longtime enthusiasts of Tower Defense games, as well as those just tapping into the genre, will appreciate the depth and diversity of Lich Defense. For starters, because there are three different quests per stage to overcome, Lich Defense offers more than 60 total quests. The game also features an RPG component that lets users better prepare themselves against an onslaught of monsters with a magical assortment of strategic and entertaining upgrades.

Backstory

As the Lich King, your task is to protect deadly towers against swarms of invaders, crushing them with your arsenal of magic. Battles take place across an array of themes – including meadows, tundra and volcanoes – each offering 30 diverse and beautifully-presented stages.

What helps Lich Defense standout amongst the other TD games available is that players must deploy different tactics and strategies in order to complete each quest. Accordingly, gameplay improves over time as players constantly need to revise their strategy and approach. In the end, this means a heckuv a lot more entertainment for free.

The depth and capabilities of the Lich character also make this game standout. While most TD titles lead up to a final destination that is defenseless, this Lich is more than capable of holding its own. You will see what you are talking about after you download the game to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Lich Defense is brought to you by JellyOasis, which earlier this year came out with Elf Defense for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Learn even more about Lich Defense and what the game has to offer in this review by 148Apps.
