Grab today’s leading Fresh iPhone App this weekend when you’re trying to figure out where to get dinner. Ness helps by gauging your opinions, and the opinions of your friends, and uses them to recommend restaurants to you. ShopAdvisor will help you out as well, making it easy to shop for products by letting you search for them and finding them at stores near you. In games, DrawRace 2 is a racer in which you don’t steer, you draw your car’s path, and Frogger Decades brings a 3-D update to the arcade classic for its 30th anniversary.
Ness (iPhone, iPad) Free
Finding restaurants that you will like is Ness’s mission. The app’s function is to recommend eateries to users based on their preferences, which the app tracks over time. When you go to a restaurant, you can rate your dining experience, and Ness keeps track of what you thought and compares it with the opinions of your friends, whom you can follow through the app, to come up with places you might like. The more you use it, the smarter Ness’s recommendations become.
Ness goes one step above other recommendation apps by using only the opinions of you and your friends. The more ratings and friends whose opinions you trust, the easier time you’ll have next time you’re wondering where you should go for dinner.
ShopAdvisor (iPhone, iPad) Free
Hit up the ShopAdvisor app wherever you are and you can instantly shop for whatever you need or want, simply by entering the text of what you’re looking for and hitting the search button. ShopAdvisor finds what you’re after and tracks down where you can find it and what it’ll cost.
ShopAdvisor uses your iOS device’s GPS technology to figure out where nearby you can find what you’re looking for. The app identifies if your product is on sale and where, and advises you on pros and cons of the purchase. It’ll also send you alerts when the price of what you’re hunting for drops, and fills you in on what you need to know to make an informed purchase.
DrawRace 2 (iPhone, iPad) $0.99
The sequel to the original DrawRace works with the same controls as its predecessor: you control a racecar, but rather than steer it or push buttons that function as gas or brakes, you draw the car’s path with your finger before the race. How well you draw the path determines how well your driver will fare – take your turns too tight or hit the walls with the path and your car will careen out of control. Keep the curves smooth and you’ll best your opponents.
DrawRace 2 has a massive single-player campaign, with more than 180 challenges to work through. It packs a set of unlockable multiplayer modes, including an online mode and a pass-and-play local mode. As you play through the game, you’ll also unlock additional cars and challenges to keep you engaged.
Frogger Decades (iPhone, iPad) $1.99

Konami has also created two different control modes, allowing players to use a virtual control pad or swipe-style touch controls.
Frogger Decades also includes additional characters, all of whom have different abilities to help you get through the game’s various levels. It also includes Game Center and OpenFeint support for leaderboards, friends’ lists and achievements.
