When iOS 4.2 hit Apple devices a few days ago, iOS device owners got access to some cool functions that let devices link together using a Wi-Fi network. Leading our Fresh Apps list today is an app that makes use of AirPrint to quickly produce small, handy documents. Read about it, and a few other cool offerings, below.

PrintKit (iPhone, iPad) $0.99

Now that iOS 4.2 is out, Apple iOS devices can make use of AirPrint, a Wi-Fi printing feature that lets devices send documents to printers over their network. PrintKit is an app that makes use of AirPrint to do some very simple, very useful things.

Using PrintKit, you can fire off small but useful documents to your printer from your mobile device. You can access your iPhone’s Contacts list to print sender and receiver information on envelopes, full-page signs with automatically centered text, and short documents typed up on your mobile device, without the need for a word processing app.

FileDrop (iPhone, iPad) $0.99

DropBox is a pretty handy service, which lets you save documents into a web server to be downloaded or shared later. FileDrop makes use of DropBox to let you quickly download and access files from your iPhone or iPad.

You can use your mobile browser to access URLs for your downloads. FileDrop works by inputting URLs for documents into the app and immediately downloading the document to your device. You can find, copy, and paste the URL on your iPhone, or access the website from another place, like a laptop computer, and input the URL on your device manually. Then just hit the button to access the document.

Browsing through entries on Craigslist can be a pain. There are a lot of links in any given category to wade through on the website, and searching through the content to check each listing individually can be time-consuming and dull.

To solve that problem, The Daily Craig arranges Craigslist entries into a format not unlike a magazine. You can select which category of listings you want to see or search through them with keywords, then page through the listings by focusing on the photos and other information included in each one.
