RetailMeNot Coupons update (Free)

RetailMeNot CouponsWhat’s it about? Save money by finding coupons for businesses near you with RetailMeNot, and redeem them using your iPhone or iPad.

What’s cool? RetailMeNot, like lots of deal services, uses your iOS device's GPS capabilities to figure out where you are, and then matches that information against a database of coupons and deals for stores in your area, helping you to find the best ways to save money wherever you are. RetailMeNot makes it easy to find deals and redeem them right on your phone's screen when you're in the store, and it can do things like notify you when you're near a good deal at the mall or send you reminders on new sales. You can also save coupons across all your devices, and with the app's new update, you can subscribe to email deal alerts for your favorite stores, snap photos to share your favorite deals, and leave comments on coupons for other users to read.

Who’s it for? If you're looking to save money on your shopping, you'll want to tap into RetailMeNot's huge database of stores and coupons.

Chinese Translator, Dictionary by Waygo (Free)

Chinese Translator, Dictionary by WaygoWhat’s it about? Waygo's translator and dictionary quickly helps you translate Chinese to English and back again, using your iOS device's camera.

What’s cool? Vacationing in China can be tough for someone who doesn't know the language, which is why Waygo's translator app is so useful. The app makes use of your device's camera to instantly translate words from Chinese to English, making it easy to read signs, menus, and the like. The app also presents readers with pronunciation keys for translated words to make it easier to communicate, and you can share your translations online with others. Regular translations don't require a data connection, though, so don't worry about running up your bill or being without service.

Who’s it for? This one is for English speakers learning Chinese or traveling to Chinese-speaking places.

Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet update ($1.99)

Magicka: Wizards of the Square TabletWhat’s it about? Cooperative side-scrolling action game Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet has players using magic spells against tons of enemies, and occasionally each other.

What’s cool? Magicka is something of a brawler, with as many as four players on screen at a time fighting off a horde of enemies, except instead of using swords and axes, you use magic spells. Magicka includes a number of spells for players to wield, but unlike other similar co-op titles, friendly fire is on – meaning you can accidentally set your buddies on fire, shock them with electricity, and visit other pain upon them. You can play Magicka with friends across different platforms, so Android gamers are welcome, and the app's latest update adds support for iPhones as well as iPads.

Who’s it for? If you like teaming up with friends to take down bad guys and sometimes accidentally, but hilariously, blasting your pals as well, check out Magicka.
