Squawk MessengerWhat’s it about? Get just about every feature imaginable in Squawk Messenger, including group voice and text chat and the ability to send self-destructing messages.

What’s cool? Squawk Messenger includes just about everything you've ever heard of in a chat app. You can use it to text and send voice messages to individuals or groups, and you're also able to send photos, add stickers, customize the chat background and draw on images. Squawk also lets you edit messages after you've sent them, and includes the ability to make any message self-destruct after a certain amount of time so that your secrets stay secret.

Who’s it for? If you need a lot of horsepower and fun in your chatting, Squawk Messenger can likely accommodate you.

What’s it like? Grab Tango or Kik Messenger for more message-sending power.

VS. (Free)

VS.What’s it about? Tap the Twitter community to pit any two topics against each other to see which is better liked and more popular in VS.

What’s cool? Polling people on which they like better of two things is an ancient entertainment tradition, and VS. uses technology to find out what public sentiment is on literally any two topics. The app lets you pick two things, either by entering your topics in question or picking from Twitter trends, and then trawls through tweets and analyzes the language in them to find out what people really think of the comparison. The results are tallied and visualized by the app, and you can use VS. to share the results of your poll on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.

Who’s it for? Looking for the real opinions of the public on the Heat vs. the Spurs or which summer blockbuster was better? VS. is for you.

What’s it like? Do some more social network polling with Tiny Voter and Pollr.
