This Day in The Rolling Stones ($2.99)

What’s it about? A huge compendium of information on The Rolling Stones, This Day in The Rolling Stones is full of trivia, notes and more.

What’s cool? There’s a whole lot of stuff to learn about the Stones in This Day. Each day reveals historical information about the band and you can snap through the days, take a Rolling Stones quiz and read a ton of notes about each of their songs, on every single album. There’s also a trivia section of the site (apart from the quiz) that provides you with tidbits about the band. Finally, you can tap into Rolling Stones merchandise, or get funneled to official sites for each of the band’s members.

Who’s it for? This one is for big-time Rolling Stones fans, and anybody else hoping to learn a bit about the band or rock history.

What’s it like? Check out The Rolling Stones Official App for even more Stones.

Pixplit update (Free)

What’s it about? Pixplit lets you share photos from your iOS devices to create photo collages that can be shared with others.

What’s cool? Creating collages is a lot more fun when you can do it remotely with your friends, mixing their photos and yours together in different ways. When you’re done with your creation, you can share it with others on Facebook and Twitter. Pixplit’s recent update adds improved user profile, push notifications and iPhone 5 support.

Who’s it for? If you take photos with your phone and share them with friends, you should give Pixplit a try.

What’s it like? Both Pic Stitch and Photo Collage Creator will also allow you to create collages of your own and share them through social networks.

Wild Blood update ($0.99 - on sale for a limited time)

What’s it about? Gameloft’s third-person action game, with high-quality graphics thanks to the Unreal Engine, lets players take on enemies and other players alike.

What’s cool? In King Arthur’s court, players take on the role of Lancelot and fight off demons that have escaped through an open gate to Hell. This isn’t the legend of King Arthur, but you get to fight through waves of enemies with a number of cool powers and weapons. Along with the game’s involved single-player mode, there’s also a multiplayer mode that lets you fight other players in epic battles, as well. Wild Blood’s new update adds even more features, including a new multiplayer mode and a multiplayer arena, along with weapons and armor.

Who’s it for? If you enjoy console games such as Darksiders 2 or the God of War franchise, you should check out Wild Blood.

What’s it like? Phosphor Games’ Horn is another great action-adventure title, as is Gameloft’s BackStab.
