Klout, which is pioneering how an individual’s influence is measured on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and other channels, today released an iPhone app that lets users tap into a variation of the service wherever they go.
While the app doesn’t have every feature that is available through the web service, a few unique goodies are worth checking out. For instance, users can see their Klout scores from the icon and not actually have to open the app. Every time your score changes or when somebody supplies you with a +K, you will receive a push notification. The app also has a convenient way to view all of the people online that most influence you.
While there is no Klout Android app currently available, the company says one is in the works and is coming soon. Earlier this year, Klout raised $30 million in a Series C round of financing led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
