New iPad battery same as it ever was

While Apple is now on the record confirming that iDevices that appear to be fully charged aren’t always that, the company is saying the process is the same for all iOS devices.

As reported by Ina Fried in AllThingsD, the new iPad and all previous iDevices claim to be at 100 percent battery power before being completely charged. This, says Apple, is the most efficient process and has worked since 2007.

“That circuitry is designed so you can keep your device plugged in as long as you would like,” Apple VP Michael Tchao told. “It’s a great feature that’s always been in iOS.”

The battery for the new iPad reliably lasts ten hours, which, in our opinion, is the most important thing.

Analysis of 3,995 customer reviews, published by iPad (2012), iPad 2, Samsung Tab, Toshiba Thrive and Motorola Xoom customers, supports this article. The customers of new iPad rate their experience with Battery Life quite popsitively and at the par with the rest of the tablets. That is a good news for Apple. The bad news is that the new iPad customers are not particularly impressed by their experience. The only important attribute that is scored much higher than the older tablets is the Video Experience. It exceeded customer expectations by 28%. See the snapshot of Customer Intelligence analysis dashboard at http://blog.amplifiedanalytics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/New-iPad-did-not-impress.png.
