With upstarts like Camera Awesome nipping at its heels, incumbent photo app Hall-of-Famer Camera+ appropriately is focusing on new features.

A new update that came in today is, well, pretty awesome. New features for Camera+ include the ability to share photos with multiple accounts, a new icon, the ability to import multiple photos from your library, focus and exposure locks, new workflows and overall improvements to clarity and performance.

But that’s not all. New APIs available for the first time integrate Camera+ into multiple third party apps. Some of our favorite sites including FoodSpotting, Wordpress, and Tweetbot will all include Camera+ services.

The iOS-exclusive Camera+ is already the 10th most downloaded title from the App Store with more than 7 million installs. We’re thinking that figure will get a bump in the coming days. Check it out.

Check out ProCamera for iPhone and iPad!
This app has all the features of Camera+ and more. It’s a high-end app, great for professionals, and also easy to use for people like me who want to advance the skills. I can set focus and exposure on different objects. So easy. It takes exceptional pictures. Then apply filters, lighting and other adjustments. On top of that you can shoot videos and zoom videos while recording.
It’s worth it. German engineered, rigorous while artistic. I am glad that I didn’t waste money to try many other camera apps!
