I love my basic mapping apps for getting around town. They usually serve me just fine but then... then Seattle decides to carve up and destroy a ton of different roads all at the same time and suddenly maps fail.

Why yes, I'd love to take the viaduct to West Seattle, map app, but it's closed because they're tearing it down. So what to do? Inrix has you covered. Or more importantly it TELLS you when something is torn up.

Upgrading allows you to route your specific travel destinations and helps you pick the best route for traffic. It will even forecast your best options depending on time and such. The free version has no such option but will at least let you see both the traffic and the road closed (or construction/accident/etc) issues.

Either way if you live in a city where road construction has gone insane you'll want this app.
