As someone who has traveled in second and third world countries I have to say these deals are ludicrous. Sure, $215 a night might be a "deal" on a $500 a night hotel room but the idea that I'd spend this kind of cash for a place in California when I can get something way better in Baja for 1/4 of the price is just insane.

And really, if you're someone who thinks that $215 is a steal for a hotel room are you really the type of person who books late or looks for deals? Granted, the apps name doesn't make you likely to think that you'd have great really inexpensive deals to chose from here but still, the idea of saving money for the rich just seems counter intuitive. Most of them don't really care.
