It's Twitterific!

Twitterific has many features that aren't found in other Twitter apps I've looked at. You can show or hide avatars, highlight your own tweets, plus there are many other settings to play around with. If you don't like the little chirps, you can turn them off!

My favorite feature is it's ability to manage several Twitter accounts with ease. Simply set them up and bounce back and forth between the accounts to keep an eye on them.

Owls are Better

This app chirps at me. That is annoying. If I wanted a bird sound I'd download a bird sound app.

I also get annoyed at the pictures used to tell you what you're looking at. Sure, I can learn pictures but why not just use words? And since I spend a ton of time teaching people how to use these sorts of tools I really don't like something that also forces me to teach pictures, pictures that the average newbie is unlikely to remember. OK, I admit that I'm definitely biased towards hootsuite especially with the ability to schedule tweets which is endlessly important for the work I do.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who love this app but for me it's a definite no go. It just doesn't offer anything better than what I already have.

Did I mention it chirps at me? Seriously?!

The hawk of tweets

Twitterrific is a natural step up from some of the more basic tweet apps. It's all chromy and noisy with lots of bells and whistles (literally..it chirps at you when you have tweets.) That said, powerful almost equals confusing. I know my way around an iPhone well but am still unveiling things here. The logos in the interface are not so innate and the learning curve is a little steep. One feature I'm really loving though is the ability to switch back and forth between multiple Twitter accounts, so I can have my work and personal Twitter both close at hand with almost effortless switching.

Most used free app

This is something that I should probably pay for because of how great it is, but I'm cheap.
I literally use it daily and most times more and I haven't found a bug or bad feature yet. If you use twitter and aren't already using Tweetie, pick up this app.

One of the best free Twitter app

Thanks to themes, it looks great. It has enough features for a passive Twitter user like me. On the rare times when I need to post or RT something, it doesn't disappoint.

Twitterific is a joy to use on a daily basis. I would have bought the premium version but the non-intrusive advertisements shown in this version can be interesting at times.

Does the job, and very pretty, but...

The free version is ad-supported, and the ads are a bit obnoxious.

Twitterrific is certainly in the top three options. Fun, easy to use, clear, well designed. Absolutely worth evaluating.

Great app for twitaholics

I'd put this app as one of the top three twitter apps out there. I've been on twitter since the very beginning, so have seen a lot of third party clients. Twitterific strikes a nice balance between having a lot of features for power users, and being clean and straightforward to use for more newbie users. I use it to monitor twitter over the course of a day more than to compose tweets.
