This App is fabulous. By using this app, my husband and I have saved quite a bit of money on gas! Just this past week, both our cars were approaching "E" and we needed gas. I checked my iPhone App, and by slightly altering our route, we were both able to fill up for $3.29 a gallon vs $3.45 a gallon! Not too shabby!
This app is pointless. In theory it sounds like a good idea. I mean gas is expensive right? It would be awesome if we could save money on gas every month.
Now time for reality. 99% of all gas stations are about 1 penny difference from one another. Really there is no way you are really going to save any substantial amount of money with this app.

Yet another great reason to have a smart phone is an app just like this. Depending on where you live gas prices can really vary oftentimes within a few blocks of you. While I know the areas in my town to get good, cheap gas this app becomes super helpful for finding cheap gas while travelling, especially while travelling rurally.
In certain areas of my state the gas prices are up to 50 cents higher than other places. Usually I know and buy gas ahead of time, trying to avoid gas purchases in these insanely high price areas but never fail, at least once or twice I've needed to buy gas in one of these areas. This app can help you plan when would be best to do that assuming you have a feel for how much gas you have left. Maybe it's worth it to wait if you can, maybe not. Why not know before you're on fumes?
