Good but not perfect

I will first admit that I don't really have my own blog on posterous. Well, I do, but I don't use it. Why? Because I'm already set up on wordpress and it's just too much of a pain to change. BUT I do follow several blogs on posterous and I was hoping this app would help me there.

You see, both of the blogs I follow are sites I want to go back to so while they are set up to deliver posts to my email, I often want to go back to an earlier post, to look at pictures, remember a link, whatever. Unfortunately this app does me no good with that.

The app is really set up for those of you who want to post to your posterous site. Apparently there are things missing for that functionality as well. I know I can't control or edit a bunch of items I'd like to edit from within the app. I would need to go to the website for example to change where a posterous post autoposts to (does it go to my facebook and twitter pages as well?). I suspect that's not a huge deal... besides I notice I make more "wait, I didn't really just do that did I?" mistakes when I try to control account settings from my phone. It's good to do that while you're in front of a bigger screen and less distracted.

All that said, this app is great if you want to post, not great if you want to follow.
