I can’t say enough good things about this app! The minute I started using it I was hooked :)

Every time I have had to travel for work or been on vacation I have used it many times and will continue to do so.
These are just some of the wonderful functions this add has to offer:
Business: find local businesses; click-to-call; get directions; share details via email, Facebook and Twitter
People: lookup by name or reverse lookup by phone number or address; click-to-call; get directions; share details via email, Facebook and Twitter
Movies: search by theater, movie, top 10 or genre; click –to-call; get directions; add theaters to favorites; sort by name or rating; view trailers; view Rotten Tomatoes rankings; add to calendar; send details to contacts via email, Facebook and Twitter; buy movie tickets
Restaurants: Search by name, cuisine type or nearby; click-to-call; get directions; view website; view hours and prices; reserve a table
Events: search by category, venue, performer, event or nearby; get directions; send details to contacts via email, Facebook and Twitter; add events to calendar
Gas (US only): search by nearby stations or best prices; click-to-call; get directions; share details via email, Facebook, Twitter, and SMS

The great thing about this app is even my kids love it, they love the fact they can help out and plan what we will be doing next . Poynt has led us to a lot of great restaurants, coffee houses, movies and lots of other fun activities..

It’s a must have app for me!!

Poynt is fantastic

Poynt is by far my favourite location-based tool... I originally fell in love with Poynt in it's Blackberry version when it was first released for the BB, and upon moving to an iPhone 4 it was the first application that I downloaded. I was pleased that it retained the same interface design as the Blackberry version (and this would be the only BB app that I would say that for...).

Poynt has led me to dozens of fantastic dining experiences, countless amazing cafés and coffee shops in various cities, has given me directions to shops that I'm heading to & has dialed the phone for me to reach a business to find out if something is in stock. I honestly don't know what I did before Poynt.

While I do have other *similar* location-based tools/apps installed on my iPhone 4, this is the one that I always go to as the default, and it has never led me astray.
