Great app for many industries

This is a great app for communicating with people when you don't want to leave any record of the conversation. The sender can choose how long it's viewable for on the receiver's phone and then it's gone - wiped from the phone, and the database, forever.

One of the best apps, saved our hospital from a lawsuit since Tigertext is HIPAA compliant.

Great article about BYOD and HIPAA and Tigertext:

This app is awesome. It immediately deletes the texts on your phone, so you never have to remember something you want to forget again. If only Tiger had known.

My buddy showed me this app like one week ago, but then I just brushed him off. Then he sent me a TigerText message and, after installing the free reader, I saw a countdown on my iPhone telling me when the message would be erased. I felt like I was in "Die Hard" or "Mission Impossible". Once the countdown was to 0, mini tiger tracks showed up on the screen and took the message away forever. What an awesome feature!

Tiger Text puts you in control of your texts

It's important to keep in mind that while Tiger Text is free to download, it only gives you 100 free texts (to try) over a 15 day period. After that, Tiger Text uses Apple's In-App Purchase. It costs $.99 for 250 messages sent per month or $1.99 for unlimited messages. This doesn't use your iPhone's standard text option, so you won't be charged by AT&T for this text.

Tiger Texts allows the sender of the text message to decide when the text will leave the recipients phone, rather than relying on them to delete it. The downside? If you send a message and it expires before the recipient reads it, then that message is gone forever. Also? Both users must have Tiger Text to communicate via this app.

Currently this is only available for the iPhone, but a Blackberry app is scheduled for release mid-March, followed by the Android version in early April.
