Tiger Text puts you in control of your texts

It's important to keep in mind that while Tiger Text is free to download, it only gives you 100 free texts (to try) over a 15 day period. After that, Tiger Text uses Apple's In-App Purchase. It costs $.99 for 250 messages sent per month or $1.99 for unlimited messages. This doesn't use your iPhone's standard text option, so you won't be charged by AT&T for this text.
Tiger Texts allows the sender of the text message to decide when the text will leave the recipients phone, rather than relying on them to delete it. The downside? If you send a message and it expires before the recipient reads it, then that message is gone forever. Also? Both users must have Tiger Text to communicate via this app.
Currently this is only available for the iPhone, but a Blackberry app is scheduled for release mid-March, followed by the Android version in early April.
