Mashable is definitely one of the places to stay up on what's new, trending, and breaking news in the social media/mobile world. I've stopped following them on Twitter, knowing important stuff will be retweeted by people I follow. But this app let's me stay connected and browse what's new and hot on topics I'm interested in, and arguably more efficient (though sometimes slow to load) since it's less cluttered with ads, etc.
