This app works like a dream, and short of having a Slingbox broadcasting your local team for you from home, this might be your best (or only) shot at live sports on your phone. You will need a qualifying connection with ESPN - whether being already a subscriber through your cable company, or other relationship agreements like having internet via FiOS. Different connections will unlock different content, but once you get all your accounts set up, it works great.
