Good, can't imagine I'll use it

This is actually a great app. It allows you to put in a number of different parameters for your day hike and returns you with a pretty accurate list of what you should bring.
Included in those settings are the distance of your hike, the terrain (steep, flat, rolling?) the trail conditions (snowy, muddy, dry) if you're hiking with a baby which presumably means you've got a lot more on your list and a lot more to carry, the expected weather in both temperature and conditions and if you're a minimalist or an extreme packer.
In changing just a few settings I did actually come up with different lists. The app is smart enough to know that I'm not going to need bug spray if it's 20 degrees outside.
A few bummers of the app is that you can't easily change the settings you originally selected. From what I can see you need to create a new list each time which makes making a mistake a bit annoying.
All that said it's a great app for someone who is prone to forgetting things they might need for day hiking. Do note however that this is no camping app so if you're overnighting this is not the only app to use.
