Bubbly

This app is "cute". Yup, that's what I said. It's a great interface for those who still like things to be all bubbly.

I won't say that it's a bad app, it isn't, but like a few others it's weird that you don't know what app you're in when you're in it. There's simply nothing much about the app in the app itself.

Outside of that the app is relatively easy to use. It's slower than other things that allow you to shift easily back and forth from one page to another and that's a bit annoying.

Basically you go into your home feed and then you have to back out to get to mentions or anything else. This forward and back thing is a bit of a deal breaker for me.

The app appears to have some great picture functions and other things not usually included in these types of applications. I suspect that if you use twitter for personal purposes only this app may be for you. If you're using this for business however you may want something a bit quicker and more professional.

Meh. It's alright.

One of the weirdest parts of this app is that you're never quite sure what app you're in. It doesn't tell you. While that may not be an issue for many people for newbies that can be problematic. And since I was looking for apps for my new to twitter coworkers this could be a deal breaker.

Well, that and the flashy advertisement bar. That's just plain obnoxious. Don't flash at me phone, I'm really too busy and too tired for that kind of nonsense.

All this said the app is pretty good. It has good links to saved searches and lists, and best yet shows well what lists you're included on already (a selling point for using twitter for businesses or nonprofits for sure... "look who thinks we're awesome!").

Were I not so in need of scheduling tweets, managing multiple accounts and so in love with Hootsuite I would give this app more of a go.

It's good, it's just not all that.

Owls for newbies

I got this app to check it out for my coworkers. I love my paid version but I can't expect others to want to pay while still not even sure about twitter itself. And frankly this lite version more than delivers.

From what I can see the only huge difference is that you can only manage 3 accounts from the lite version whereas the full version gives you what seems to be an unlimited number of account options. If you're a social networking junky this isn't the app for you, but then the tiny cost for the full version won't likely stop you from getting it.

If you're new to twitter or love Hootsuite and don't need to manage multiple accounts then this is the app for you. Scheduling tweets, easily setting up columns, simple to use and intuitive all while being quite easy visually make this app a clear winner in twitter management tools.

Dissapointing

Talking Carl is much better in this version he only snores which is funny at first but just gets annoying but on the otherhand it's free so for a free app it's 2/5 stars.

Great app, much better than the mobile or touch sites in safari. And has the bonus of photo uploads + facebook chat! (neither of which works in safari)

Push notifications work perfectly. Only gripe i had about this app was a)When you'd click onto a previously viewed status/item it took a couple of seconds to refresh the new comments since the last time you saw it. Probaly a fault with the speed of my phone network though.
and b)When you click through to a posted note, it loads up the full facebook page for the note in a browser view.
b should be easily fixable with an update, whilest a is as-said above, likely a network problem.

must have for any star wars fan!

This app allows you to wield your phone as a light saber. Once you deploy your light saber (tapping once on the screen) you are greeted with the graphic and the characteristic sound from the movies. The screen takes on the appearance (color) of your chosen light saber and begins to hum gently.

The characters are a limit because you have Darth Vader and then a bunch of lesser known characters associated with the game. You can create your own custom character and light saber if you so desire – using RGB sliders to create a unique color and there are four different hilts to choose from.

The Lightsaber app senses your movements. Move the iPhone, and it will sound as if a light saber were passing through the air in front of you. Swing quickly and it responds with the sound of two light-sabers clashing. It never gets old to generate the sounds of your own little light saber battle.

There is an annoying ad for The Force Unleashed game and the features are mostly padding but the app itself is still fun and a must have for any Star Wars fan.

Gets the job done

For a brief 2 or 3 months, I indulged myself in the online dating scene. And because I'm a total narcissist and internet addict, I loved having my messages and winks accessible 24/7.

That is, until I didn't.

Honestly, it got to be a little much. I was into it at first, but all the push notifications and chatting began to get annoying.

The app itself does a good job of including lots of features, but in general I recommend just sticking to the website and limiting yourself to checking it only when you feel like it.

Overrated

It's not a bad game by any means and there is enough to make you want to top your score, but I really find this a pick up and play occasionally game rather than an addictive must-have that I spend hours glued to (as AppStore reviews indiciate.) Looking at these reviews it is obviously bringing a lot of joy to some and that's great but personally I prefer a more engaging gameplay than just bouncing up and down.

My son loves this

It is a great little distraction for him when we are visiting relatives. He loves making noise with this app.

Needs a little help but good

I like the fact that I can create my own surveys and link them to previous files and responses. My only complaint is that it will not tab the results into a database for me. If they could do that - I would be a very happy camper.

Description
A quote a day, for 365 days.
365 suggestions for daily motivation,
To help you find your personal satisfaction
in love, at work, in study and in sports
to give you a boost every morning and help you not to give up.
This application comes from my personal and artistic experience
How many times during the day do we need a piece of advice, a point of view or a phrase which shows us the right way?
How many times have we felt like we needed a guide, a teacher, somebody to help us make our choices?
For all of these reasons over the years I have collected and selected phrases, aphorisms and quotes
by philosophers, writers, artists, scientists. I matched every phrase with one day of the year. I read that phrase and I repeat it like a mantra during the day. This helps me concentrate and it helps me not to lose heart while pursuing my goals.
When you'll open the application, you'll read the phrase of the day, you can use it as background so you can have it there whenever you use your iPhone,
you can choose your favorite phrases, you can send them via email or MMS, you can search phrases through your calendar.
The color changes monthly following the change of the seasons, with non-invasive and deliberately minimalistic graphics.
This application is not a substitute of medical or psychological treatments and won't change your life, but if you are constant in reading and mentally repeating, it will help you reach your goals.
Starting from this application I will develop a new series of art works, counting upon your interaction
From Albert Einstein to Frank Zappa, from Mother Teresa to Lao Tzu,
365 motivational phrases selected to help you every day

Reach your goal
Have a good Daily Mantra!

I think that Flickr is still the best way to share and organize photos online.

Pandora

I've been using Pandora on my desktop for years, love having this on my iPhone. Besides the occasional lag & the fact that it will sometimes insist that I really should listen to the same song I've given a thumbs down to repeatedly, I love this app.

Happy :)

I've always loved the idea of a gratitude journal; this makes it easy for me to write down what I'm thankful for everyday. I love that it's password protected and always full of inspirational quotes.

Brainless

This game is admittedly easy and requires no brain power, but I love it. Plus, it's a cute little rat on a scooter! What's not to love?

SO ACCURATE

I am always checking this to know just how much longer I can tweet or play before my phone dies. Love this app for its accuracy and usefulness.
