Games App User Reviews

Addicted

I love this game and have gotten several friends addicted as well! My husband, who doesn't have an iPhone, regularly takes my phone to play with my friends or starts a game with me. ;)))

Ok, but has physics flaws

There are several bowling games out there, and they are all better than this one. I'm not saying it stinks, but tyhat there are better bowling apps. The greatest complaint is in the physics. The bowling ball should behave as realistically as possible, but it doesn't in this game. I found myself swearing at the stupid thing more than once, which felt pretty silly. Until they fix the physics and have the ball behave like bowling balls do on THIS planet, I'd say give this a mess... or wait for a significant update.

The cute monkey really is cute!

So Sega makes iPhone apps now, eh? Well, the idea of getting an adorable monkey from start to finish is a simple premise, but this game is more like an actual video game, requiring you to collect bananas and navigate obstacles.

The graphics are great and you use your phone's tilt feature to play, making it fun and addictive for all ages!

Super interactive!

Here's a game that lets you use all of your iPhone's unique features -- tilting, tapping, and multitouch -- to play the game.

The premise is that Rolandoland has been invaded and the Rolandos need help, but as a user you'll be solving physics puzzles and learning at the same time. Also the graphics are pretty amazing.

You can test out the Rolando Lite version for free to get a taste for the game before you buy, which I always appreciate from gaming apps.

I didn't find this game quite as addictive and exciting as the rest of the world has, but it's worth the dollar I paid for it. Zen mode is actually pretty rewarding and the smooth finger swipes make for a fun but relaxing play experience.

Touchy, touchy, touchy

This is Skeeball plus annoyance. The toss action is far too touchy, and the ball motion feels less real than the Skee-ball app. This same company has better games, but I'm not really loving this one. Much more frustrating than it needs, in order to be classified as "fun."

It's the sickness I love.

Confession: I probably play this game waaaaay too much. It's the ultimate boredom reliever. I grew up going to the boardwalk in Ocean City NJ, and was an avowed Skeeball addict even then. It's old school, it's dumb as a box of rocks... and it's totally addictive. A must-have if you are EVER in some boring place and need relief. IMPORTANT CLUE: Try this... after you flick the ball, while it's rolling, pull your finger back down the screen. It adds backspin! Seriously.

An application that shares information and reviews for applications.

A great application. One problem that I have with my IPad is that App Library Builder does not work. Other than that it is great

One of the best iPhone titles

The perfect RTS/TD game for people who don't like real-time strategy games or tower defence games. It's am ingenious design that is just plain FUN.

Must have for the Gamer.

Great graphics, simple gameplay mechanics, challenging and fun.
The object of the game is to slice open the fruit that are thrown upward from the bottom of the screen. This may seem simple at first but it gets more complex with each level you pass. The price point is spot on so pick this one up if you're a gamer.

Connect Four anyone? The settings include one player or two and choices for the single player include easy, medium, and difficult. One of my personal favorites!

Fun Vertical Platformer

This is a fun little game, a little more fun than many of the others like it in the era of Doodle Jump and it's vertical leaping (or in some cases dropping) genre. Cute and VERY well art-directed, many of the fun parts are a bit slow to discover since you're usually racing right past them, which for me is the frustration with games of this type. Seems either that a type of skill is need that I don't have, or the game type is somehow wrong. I imagine the former.

very entertaining

Since everyone and their brother seemed to have this app, I finally bought it and started playing. Since I never really played the game online, it took a few minutes for me to get the hang of it. Now that I do, I can't get it out of my head.

Seriously.

I couldn't fall asleep last night because I could see the jewels in my head. I saw them again today while having coffee with a friend. I CANNOT ESCAPE THEM.

There are also some "Bejeweled Cheat" apps that I saw, which makes me think I'm missing something in the game. Perhaps I'll have to see what they're all about too.

Great Fun and Works better than I would have thought

Yes, this game is as fun as regular air hockey, but now its very very portable. Decent AI makes it challenging, but not too much.

Not Sure What The Fuss Is About

I didn't like this game AT ALL. I couldn't see the point, nor did it pull me toward any goal in a compelling way. I guess novelty of UI these days is a compelling thing in and of itself for a younger generation of gameplayers, but just not me.

A Bestseller, but...

Not a lot here to keep my interested. I never found the REAL throw the ball into the hole games to be that much fun, more frustrating than anything else, and this app keeps that feeling right in mind!

For those that enjoy this type of real-life game, you're sure to like it, but I didn't, in spite of the first rate graphics, prizes, and functionality of the game being right on for it's genre.

This game is cool and fairly easy to play also. You stand up press the bowl button and more your arm like you would a bowling ball, then release the button. You bowl a well as you swing, and it plays super nice. I can't wait to try the paid version!

Cool And More Challenging Than You Think

I played this app for a good while and I found that it's more challenging than you think. The various level challenges really are difficult and the interface is hard to know when you've gone too far without tactile feedback. Hard to believe that a game manufacturer could make a FEATURE out of the lack of tactile feedback, but it's true. Get this game, it's fun!
