I may be a bit biased since I’m from this small Indiana town, but trust me, the people are sweet as can be, dining and hotel prices are cheap, you can buy beer at a drive-thru liquor store, and there is a casino in town if you want to go gambling after you tucker yourself out from skiing and snow tubing fun at the slopes. Of course, almost everyone heads to Florida for spring break at one time or another. My first high school spring break trip was to Fort Lauderdale, complete with the requisite trip to the Elbo Room.
