I loooooooooove this app! You can just make a car explode on someones face. What could be better? Recommend!
Are you a fan of action movies? Do you like to see really high budget special effects blockbusters? Ill bet you never in a million years thought you could shoot a home movie with effects like that did you? Well if thats the case you would be WRONG!! Because now with Action Movie FX from Bad Robot Interactive you can! This app ROCKS literally!!
Action Movie FX is really a fun, entertaining app that is so simple to use anyone can have fun with it. And best of all its free to try it out. Heres how you use it. You load the app. Press GO and then you get to select your scene. Action Movie FX comes withs 2 3 free scenes you can choose from and they are as follows:
Missle Attack – a guided missle comes in and takes out whatever it is you want it to take out.
Car Smash – this one is hillarious. Basically a car drops out of the sky and rolls over everything in the shot Demolition Rock – best way to describe this is a giant boulder drops out of the sky and crushes your target. There are other scenes you can buy in the app store that come in 2 scene sets. Ill let you find those on your own. But they are also very fun and truly big budget style special effects. After you pick the scene you want they take you to the video shooting scene. You point the camera to the place you want your effect to happen and shoot at least 5 seconds worth of video. Once youre done shooting, hit stop, and the app asks you to pick the time in the video you want the effect to show up. Then thats it. The app processes your video and gets it ready to play. You can even share it with other online or in email. So So Soooo Simple! And fun!!
Theres not much more to say about this app. Its a very simple approach to what would seem to be a very complex thing to do while making a movie on your phone with special effects. But it seems so effortless that anyone, even children, can make a special effects movie on their iphone.
