Everyone needs AutoTune

Recommended for Students or Music Fans

OK, the novelty wore off after about a day, but we did a lot of laughing that day. You get to sing along, karaoke style, to a handful of T-Pains tunes (more can be purchased in-app), or, you can sing to your own beat. You can turn AutoTunes on or off (trust me, it's more fun with it on).

You can save your best performances in your personal library, and if you wish, upload some to the I Am T-Pain website to share with other users around the world. My rendition of 'I Love the Bartender' is up there somewhere!

Nicely executed, no real problems. It would have been handy to search for T-Pain videos on YouTube through the App, as I really didn't know any of the songs, and had to watch him sing them several times first.

I love T-Pain and autotune and yet...I could NOT figure out this app. Maybe it's me. But I'm pretty smart and any app that foils a reasonably intelligent person is not good, at least not in my opinion.

Too funny!!!

I had heard a lot of hype about this app but pretty much ignored it until our iPhone arrived and I suddenly didn't have to dig out my microphone earbuds to use sound recording apps. This app is very amusing. You sing (singing gives you a much better effect than just talking) along with the free/purchased T-Pain songs on the app, then when you listen to your recording you hear your autotuned self along with the background music. No wonder anyone and his uncle is singing these days- autotune means never having to stay on pitch! It's hysterical to record your friends or family -especially those who would "never ever" sing a hip hop song!- and to listen to them sounding like professionals. I'm not sure how often I'll use this app (maybe never again!) but I'll probably trot it out to amuse friends.
