Comprehensive event finder

The app makes finding an event that you like super simple and walks you all the way through to the purchase of tickets. You can select an artist, genre of music or venue and browse to see what is past and future. Downloading of music for past events is available. The comprehensive event guide helps me to find my favorite concerts and plays so I can attend my choice picks more often.

Just Good

I was fairly excited to see the live nation app. As a regular concert attendee having all the upcoming concerts on my phone would be super helpful. Unfortunately, as many know (and really I did too) it's not ALL the upcoming concerts in an area, just the ones promoted by live nation.

Beyond that however the app has some failings. First, it's painfully slow to load many of the different menu items. While I tend to write this off as an iPhone issue it seems to happen more with this app than any other so I think it's more of a data problem here than a phone issue.

The great news is that it shows you what's coming in the next few days in your area, so if you have some time to kill you can pop down to a show if you want. This is a great aspect of the app but sadly, without having ALL the shows around and being slow to load makes the app just OK and not really great.
