I'm in love with TuneWiki as I love to sing, and obviously, knowing the lyrics is better than making it up on your own. However, I really only sing in my car, which is a problem because I can't drive and stare at my iPhone.
I have not had much of a problem with TuneWiki finding my songs (about 90% accuracy), but obviously the accuracy is higher with songs tagged by iTunes.
Give it a try, I love it myself. If you like to sing to your music, grab the app, just find a good place to sing; I'm still working on it.
As a deaf person with a cochlear implant people are often surprised when I tell them I love music and I love to sing along off-key with the best of them. While I hear the singing voices, I can't make sense of them on my own. That's where this app comes in handy. Not only does TuneWiki supply the lyrics, but it also scrolls down in time with the song so you know exactly when sing (screech?) out the words!
Back in the day I was a huge Duran Duran fan. The huge problem with being a big Duran Duran fan is that you spend a lot of time singing lyrics.... lyrics that you don't know. This tends to make you seem like a fool or at least means that you're not able to belt out the song along with Simon because you have no idea what he's saying.
This app will help you with that. It plays the song on your phone and shows you the lyrics as it's playing. Need to have a quick karaoke? Want to argue lyrics with your drunk friend? Well this is the app for that.
If you're a big karaoke fan or have a lot of music with lyrics you don't understand this app is for you.
Pretty good app. Great idea. The app works a little slow on my iPhone. But basically, you can gets lyrics to any song in your library, or listen to radio stations based on year, genre, etc. AND see the lyrics.
As someone who plays in a cover band, this is really handy. I can quickly hear a song and see the lyrics. However, the buffering is a bit slow at times for radio and the interface was also kinda slow even in my library.
In this day and age of instant gratification it's almost funny that I complain about the speed. For most songs, the lyrics appear before the first verse begins. But, I want it faster!!
Download it and try. Sing along as the lyrics scroll in time with the music. Cool.
