Great app for finding new songs.
I'm a music fiend and I use this app all the time. I really hate hearing a song I love and not knowing what it is. I also use this app to tag songs that I know but want to download later with the handy tagging feature. I use it so often that I upgraded to the paid version.
this app never ceases to amaze me. On 4th of July I "Shazam'd" the song playing during the fireworks. 500 yards away with fireworks booming I hit the "Tag this song" button and moments later after listening to the far off music playing the app tells me what song is playing and who the singer is. I use Shazam a lot watching TV and movies and I'll share the songs I find on my Facebook/Twitter via the app.
I listen to the radio a lot and will hear songs which I would really like to have on my phone.
I simply pick up the phone, click on Shazam and tag it.
I can then check out the tune, either instantly or later, on itunes, listen to a preview and buy it should I wish.
Your tags remain in the app until such time as you delete them, meaning if you forget about it you won't lose the details when you close the app.
