This app has simply ENORMOUS selection of sounds, with more updating for me a couple of times a week. I like the New section (in case you're a frequent user- I'm not) and What's Hot. I wonder sometimes, looking at this plethora of sounds on tap here- what sort of sounds are pleasing to people? Subway cars? Industrial Port? Washer Spin Cycle? And those are just the ones that happen to be on my front page during this review.
I guess any repetitive noise qualifies for Ambiance, but for myself I like rain and water sounds almost exclusively. It appears my preference is also the case for many others, as rain and water sounds are intermixed with almost every conceivable bird, whale or obstruction here.
What is nice is that most (it appears) sounds are free, and I have seen some in the past that cost money, yet I have to say I couldn't find any whilst I was reviewing this app.
