SIMILAR APPS:

Successfully shooting a wad of paper into a waste paper basket across the room can earn you office bragging rights for a day. With the Waste Paper Basket Diaries iPhone app, you can relive the glory over and over.

The game has you sitting at a desk in a typical office with a view of all your colleagues diligently working away at their stations. Running along both sides of you are aisles lined with waste paper baskets, inboxes, etc. The goal is to scrunch a piece of paper, and lob it into an appropriate receptacle.

I wouldn’t describe myself as some sort of game master, but nevertheless, I had a hard time getting the technique down. Either I would scrunch the paper too fast and the wad would release, falling to the floor, or I would overshoot my target, hitting one of the worker bees in the head.

After several rounds, however, I was able to get a few good shots off and I felt just like Kobe Bryant. Many of the objects in the room are bankable, and I found using the side of the desk was the surest way to score two points.

If you are feeling competitive, the app even allows you to share and compare your scores with other competitors.
