Gettin' Dirrty on the iPhone

This app has the best part of football, in most people's opinion. The main goal of the app is to run the ball into the end zone while avoiding being tackled. My friend used to call it "gettin' dirty".
So with this app, you can "get dirty" all over the field by dodging, weaving, and stiff-arming your way to the end zone, level by level.

I enjoy it, but not as much as a full featured football game. I have not tried Madden or NFL on the iphone yet, but I can recommend backbreaker for some quick fun, but not for a long session.

Not exactly what I'd hoped for.

In reading the description of this game and looking at the pictures, it looks like any other football game. But in reality it isn't like any other football game. It's just level after level of trying to run past defenders. You can spin, juke, slow down, speed up and "highstep". That's it, after I figured out exactly how to play, the game was boring and monotonous. I wish I could get my money back and just buy Madden instead.

Best .99 cents ever spent.

I can play this game for hours. The controls are simplistic but intuitive. The graphics are great. This game provides just enough frustration to keep you coming back for more. Like when you just miss Backbreaker status by 1000 points and that was your best effort to date. Errr!!! Buy it. You will not be disappointed you did.
