Another win for EA with the newest sports title

If you looking for a console experience then all I have to say is don't use an iPod and use a console designed for games. That being said EA does a great job porting over the newest Madden to the iPod line, with easy to use controls and decent graphics it is a game unmatched in the app store too date. It can be argued that Gameloft's NFL 2011's graphics are a step up from those of Madden but the controls of the latter far outweigh any complaints you may have about the look. The relatively steep price of $7.99 (but compare that to the >$50 you could spend on the console version) and the lack of extra game modes (Exhibition, Season, Playoffs, Multiplayer) may deter people from giving this game a shot but its a good edition to any sports fan's iPod, and like all sports game, since there isn't a set story line you don't need to worry about it sitting unused on your iPod once you beat it. There are still some aspects EA could improve on but they have been doing a fabulous job thus far. 4.5/5
