Excellent graphics, intuitive interface, groovy music! Choose between Brog and Grag and then pick your (almost Flinestones like) car. Forward, reverse, and the brakes are all pretty self-explanatory. Tilt the iphone to handle the curvy course. Oh and there is a very helpful map on the upper right to help you navigate where you are in regards to the other drivers. My only issue with this game is that I find I get turned around and am driving in the wrong direction too easily. Then, a big red X flashes on the screen. Maybe I just need more practice!

Caveman Cart Racer

This is a cart racer similar to Crash Bandicoot Nitrocart Racer where you race other characters while picking up power ups and various other enhancements. This game give you a lot more freedom of movement than Crash Bandicoot and that is good and bad. To start the game you pick your track. There are a lot of tracks and they are all unlocked. Tracks range from a desert environment with twisters and snakes to the jungle, to Crete and Egypt and Medieval Times. Once you pick your track you choose (as one iTunes reviewer referred to it) a Flintstones car. Finally you choose a man or woman character Brog or Grog. The only negative I have with this game is that the controls are pretty difficult. With your left thumb you control forward or reverse and with your right thumb you can activate weapons such as throwing bones or oil slicks at other cars. You tilt the iPhone or iPod Touch for steering. What makes the game most difficult is the freedom you have. You can easily get turned around and go the wrong way and when that happens a big red X appears on the screen. In the Egypt level, for example, I got stuck going round and round a pyramid and couldn't get out of it. I guess it just takes getting used to. Thank you Appolicious for giving me the free code through your Twitter contest.
