I've tried a couple of free Sudoku apps. This is the one that I continue to use. Menu is easy to use. Five levels of gaming: Flash, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Four different looks allows me to change what I am looking at. When playing the game, I do sometimes have trouble pressing the number I want - the number tiles are pretty small. But I found that with the others I tried as well.
I like apps like this because I knew of Sudoku, but I didn't know how to play it. So, I just downloaded this app. It's a good intro and it's free! The app is great, but I don't think I'll become an avid Sudoku player. Just not my style.
I used to be more into Sudoku than I am now, but I enjoy it every once in a while.
From my experience, this is a good app for beginners -- it makes you beat the beginner levels before you can get to the intermediate or advanced level.
It also lets you take notes if choose to do so, which is helpful for some people.
