This game is extremely addictive for some reason! I have the iphone, iPad and even the Kinect versions of the game and love them all. Something about chopping up fruit and unlocking all the bonus stuff is just so fun. They've released a few really nice updates as well. also, once you realize you can use multiple fingers to slice...it gets crayzee

Slice & Dice

Fruit Ninja used to be a solid 3.5 out of 5. With the add-on of multiplayer (supported by Game Center), it's easily a 5. It makes the game way more enjoyable. Playing alone is just boring after a while.

Not much to do... slash fruits...

not much excitement and fun by just slashing fruits on a 2D display with a finger....

Love this game - but I've yet to learn the secret ways of the Fruit Ninja. This game requires stealth and soft hands .. and a certain dislike for fruits :P Using your finger you basically slice and dice through a cornucopia of fruits that are being thrown up in the air. Try to avoid the bombs. Bombs = Bad. Get more points for slicing more than 4 fruits in a single swipe. Game play is quite addictive!

Cheers,

Chopping down fruit is a great way to pass a few minutes in an effort to beat your own personal best scores! This game if played in small bursts is a joy and an easy way to put a smile on your face.

However, I would not advise the extended play of this game because it can become repetitive...

Enjoy!

I Hate to Say I Love It

I read somewhere when in Ireland that this was one of the most popular apps there. Downloaded and promptly forgot it. My five-year-old, a frightenly good navigator of my iPhone, dredged it up and started playing it. "Try it, try it," he implored. "Mommy doesn't have time to sit and swat at fruit," was my reply. Well apparently I will make time because once I finally had a crack at it I found myself mildly addicted. Ok, very addicted. I also found that it has some funky mojo that helps me focus- a few rounds of this and I'm actually a bit more productive when I go back to work. Go figure. One complaint is that I've been having a hard time linking up- and staying linked- when in GameCenter live mode. Whether that's on my server's end or the game's, who knows. Also, I wish that there was some skill needed for the Critical 10 pt score instead of it being random. Other than that, fantastic game. To my great surprise.

It's interesting to try to cut up the fruit in the many swipes you have. Takes a certain way of doing it also, but I can't say I found the gameplay all that compelling. After a while, I needed something to upgrade or whatever. OK, there are some upgrades, but I didn't find the type of game that compelling.

Don't confuse this with it's copy, Veggie Samurai.

Fruit Ninja is an app for those who like slicing fruit and achieving high scores. It also has multiplayer support through the Apple Game Center thing. I loved this app for a while, until I got Veggie Samurai, which I will admit, is a blatant rip off of Fruit Ninja. The main difference, though, is that Veggie Samurai offers more gamplay wise, while Fruit Ninja just looks better and is more customizable. If you like graphics over gameplay, get Fruit Ninja.
P.S. This isn't a bad app, it's just that it's short on the gameplay with only 3 current modes and only single slices, instead of Veggie Samurai's doubles.

Slice and dice fruit-Ninja Style! It seems easy at first, but the levels get harder as you continue. This is one of my favorite Ninja Games.

I didn't find this game quite as addictive and exciting as the rest of the world has, but it's worth the dollar I paid for it. Zen mode is actually pretty rewarding and the smooth finger swipes make for a fun but relaxing play experience.

Must have for the Gamer.

Great graphics, simple gameplay mechanics, challenging and fun.
The object of the game is to slice open the fruit that are thrown upward from the bottom of the screen. This may seem simple at first but it gets more complex with each level you pass. The price point is spot on so pick this one up if you're a gamer.
