With the PDF Reader Pro, you can load your iPhone with PDF files, organize them in folders and open them anytime you want without visiting a Web site or opening your email. For road warriors, this would be a great tool--if it worked well.
PDF Reader Pro offers two viewing modes–-one that that works fast but shows pages in low-resolution, and another that runs slower at a higher resolution.
When I downloaded the app, I had to enter the IP address and port number on my laptop browser and select which PDF files I wanted to upload. That's a lot of work just to view PDF files on my iPod touch.
The design is not intuitive, and it took me a while to figure out how to use the app. I tried uploading four PDF files at once but only two arrived on my iPod.
The good part is that the app lets you jump to the page you want to view and allows you to bookmark pages. The app will also remember the last viewed location so that you don’t have to worry about closing the app and losing your spot.
