I got this app for one very specific reason. I needed to make a paypal payment and my credit card had just been stolen so I had a new replacement card I needed to add to make this payment go through.
Sadly the app doesn't give you a lot of options for managing your actual payment information and without that it's not nearly as useful as it could be. Sure, you can make payments on PayPal and if you do that regularly or need to take money the app will be a lifesaver, but if you really rarely use PayPal you'll likely need to use the website to deal with the odd changes that need to be made, at least until they update the features included on this app.
This PayPal mobile app saved the day for me, trying to buy a rooftop carrier off craigslist. With no ATM nearby, and him not wanting to take a check, I was able to PayPal him on the spot. Whew!
I love this because as a freelancer, some of my paychecks come in via PayPal and this allows me to access the account and move money around as it comes in - came in handy this last weekend while I was on vacation! I received payment and was immediately able to move the money over to my bank account.
