Not a fan

This app has driven me absolute bonkers. Yesterday, it said both my savings and checking accounts weren't even available to view! I'll admit, there are many features this app has that are great, (i.e. transfer money between two accounts, send money, scan checks), but the amount of times Chase Mobile has crashed seems to be limitless. I also received alerts, (if my account is under $500) which I do not remember setting up. It took me almost 10 minutes to look under the Alerts Setting and find where it was that I seemed to check saying I wanted these alerts. Once it was finally unchecked...the app start working very slow..and basically crashed, again. One of the most infuriating apps out there...and I haven't begun to complain about the actual bank!

Likely anyone who is reading this has seen the ads for this app. The cute newlywed couple sitting in bed scanning in the checks they received as wedding gifts and having them automagically deposited to their account without having to go to the bank in person. And that function alone makes this app truly revolutionary.

While I don't currently have a bank account with Chase the ability to scan in those snail mail checks from contracting gigs so I don't have to go to my credit union (which I love but is definitely out of the way) makes switching banks very tempting.

I do have a credit card with Chase and use this app to track my balance and purchases. I can even pay my credit card from my bank (Chase or not), see my payment history and the like. From what I can see credit card wise this app is the online site in mobile form. Nothing seems to be missing.

But really the boon for Chase and for you (especially if you're either a traveller, a contractor or just someone who needs to make deposits and doesn't want to go somewhere) is the ability to deposit from your phone. Amazing work and amazing app. I'm tempted Chase. Very tempted.

The ability to deposit checks by taking a picture of them on my iphone: AMAZING. So easy and the recognition software is incredible. I have only needed to correct it in a few minor cases. Plus it is incredibly fun in a hard-to-describe way.
One of those times when technology just blows me away.
No stodgy banker thought this app up.

If only it was an ATM too!

Chase Mobile is one of my favorite apps. Not only can you check in on your balances and find Chase locations, but you can also deposit a check right from your iPhone. And don't forget about the person-to-person quickly feature.

The deposit a check feature is great. It took about a day for the money to appear in my account, but it could be because I deposited it after 10 p.m.

No Need to Go to the Bank Anymore!

There are practical apps and then there are fun apps. And this might be the most practical app I own. Yesterday I deposited 3 checks by simply taking a picture of the front and the back of the checks inside the app.

My only critique is I can't see check images. I have Check 19 (or something like that) showing up in my purchases and I usually use Chase.com for reminders of what these checks are for. I can't view this from the app. Other than that I'm happy with it.

I can check balances, transfer money, pay bills and now deposit checks!

Got so much better

When they made it completely native, it got so much better.

I don't see what makes this an iPhone app per se, as opposed to an iPhone web optimized site. The interface is clunky and web like. There's nothing that's specifically app like.

I *love* Chase's ATM interfaces, so I imagined so much more with this. I'm not a fan.

As much as I hate Chase "there's a fee for that" Bank, I do like this handy little app that allows me to not only check my balance, but also transfer money to and from my various accounts.
