One of the BEST Apps EVER..for the iPad. I use this for Tracking my Work hours..One the Best Spread sheet's Apps out there.

Numbers look good

One of the great advantages of the iPad is that many find themselves unable to work without a physical keyboard; conversely using an iPad means taking time aside for light entertainment and learning.

Feeling guilty, I got numbers for the better as I'd otherwise skip analyzing our sales, tracking expenses, plotting graphs and analyzing the iOS market.

Slick, shiny and usable. Not suitable for heavy duty spreadsheet processing, still good for anything else.

But lacks tremendously on the iPad. With a little work this has potential. But too many things missing to really be productive although it does read some Excel spread sheets.

I knew about the issues going in but I must say that Steve Jobs held up the iWorks suite at the iPad launch and gloating about it's look and feel. That was a bad PR moment seeing how neutered this app really is on the iPad.

If you are an Excel for Mac user, don't buy numbers. If you use iWorks on the Mac, you will be disappointed. Needs full Excel import and export file support, and better feature compatibility with Numbers on the Mac. They've tweaked it since launch but they still have a long way to go.
