My fav app for business presentations.
I love this app, too! I use Power Point a lot and being able to create presentations on the go is amazing. Great app.
it does work amazingly well IF and this is a big IF, you prepare all of your power point presentation on an Mac or PC first. I used Keynote to deliver a presentation to a group of photographers and they were are WOW'd. Unfortunately like others have written the lack of good modification tools and the ability to export are the big down falls. Maybe the next version will improve these.
Keynote is by far the worst of the iWorks apps for iPad. No export support for PowerPoint, only Keynote for Mac with limited functionality, and the PDF! Using this app to tweak your PowerPoint or Keynote slides from your Mac is a lesson in frustration. Very basic template support and most of the features and formatting on the slides you import don't come over the iPad very well. There have been some slight modifications since launch, but I wouldn't even consider Keynote beta software. It clearly isn't ready for prime time, so don't waste your 10 bucks until they improve the importing and exporting support, the formatting support, and feature support.
This app could be so cool, but it falls flat on it's face.
Not ready for prime time Steve, SO NOT READY!
Perfect presentation software on the present presentation device. I imagine a conference room full of execs showing their pretty Keynote presentations to each other. Or walk into your next job interview with your iPad under your arm - when they ask what you think of their site/product/project whip out your iPad and present your thoughts in way that will wow them! Crisp images, charts, stunning transitions and pop, twirl, and drop animations. This ain't no PowerPoint.
