Clear got a lot of hype for being well designed and beautiful when it first came out and I ended up paying the $2.99 for it. I know the sell is supposed to be its simple, intuitive interface, but the functionality was just too limited for my needs. I would recommend any.do or orchestra over clear if you're looking for any more functionality than just a colorful list.
It's a good app, well-designed, etc. But I think the simplicity of it works against it. There are other task management apps that pull out all the stops (like Any.DO).
If all you want to do with a task manager is make a few lists with items, you're set. It's beautiful and creatively fun to use. If you have a need of anything else, including categorizing tasks, scheduling tasks, sharing tasks, assigning tasks to others -- basically anything else -- skip it.
This neat task-manager app has a completely gestured-based interface which makes it very different to other list apps. It needs notifications and better integration with iOS though to make it really shine.
