Crackle is an app created by the developer of the same name. The app is listed in the entertainment section and, at the time of this review, held the number one slot in the free app section of the App Store. It is, essentially, another media provider similar to what Netflix, ABC, and Hulu offer on the iPhone and iPad.
Users can download the app and immediately begin browsing through an impressive selection of movies and television shows. Unlike most apps of this type, Crackle does not require an account to begin watching media and does not charge a penny for the showings. But, like most free apps, there is a catch.
The app shows an advertisement before every piece of media and if you are watching a movie or TV show in full-length, you can expect quite a few interruptions from ads. The quality of the different shows was definitely good, but there were quite a few times when the app would crash or it would take a while to load.
Overall, Crackle is a nice attempt at bringing a free media experience to your iOS device. It is littered with ads and doesn’t offer an amazing selection, but for free, you can’t go wrong. Check it out.

Ever since it's released I've been in love with the app.
I even posted a quick review with screenshots on its release date here: http://bit.ly/lHo817
The thought of watching full-length movies on demand is just too great to miss out.
My favorite animes are available from start to finish too.
Slam Dunk and Samurai X are just classic.. :D
