Triple Town This game puts a twist on the whole match-three genre, and it's very difficult (yet highly replayable). You match patches of grass to make bushes, bushes to make trees, trees to make houses, and so on. Just watch out for the bears!

Temple Run Temple Run is likely my favorite endless running game out there. Levels are randomly generated. See how long you can outrun the carnivorous monkeys!

Angry Birds Space The new Angry Birds game is the best one yet. The new gravitational mechanics make it much more difficult, and even more rewarding when I crush those greedy green pigs.

Off the Leash Another endless running game that is interesting because of the various powerups and canine theme. You can lead dozens of dogs, which gives you more points and create a buffer for colliding into the myriad obstacles.

W.E.L.D.E.R. Since much of my subway commute takes place underground, I lose reception and access to games with online multiplayer. W.E.L.D.E.R. is a smart word one player game that is super tricky, but I can't get enough of it!
