Words With Friends It's always fun playing games with friends, especially when you can do it on your own time, when convenient for you. That's Words With Friends. Like Scrabble (exactly from what I can tell) this game lets you play back and forth with other friends all over the world. Play at your own pace and challenge yourself as you see fit. The free version has ads but frankly they're pretty unobtrusive. If you love the game you might want to pony up for the paid version. At 99 cents it's not a huge cost. If you love words, like games that make you think or just want to play with others without having to schedule time this is the app for you.

Scramble With Friends Free Another word game from Zynga but this time you're finding words rather than making them. While this game would be fun for some I am more a fan of the contemplative games than the speedy ones and this game is basically how many words can you find in two minutes. A bit too much stress for me but if you're a fan of those types of games this is for you -and your friends!

Hanging With Friends Free Basically you're playing hangman with your friends. A social hangman for people who love the game.

Poker by Zynga If you're a big poker fan this is for you. Play against people from all over the place.

Dream Zoo Sort of like FarmVille but you're raising weird critters in a zoo. Freemium game that can cost you a lot of money if you're into that sort of thing.

CityVille Hometown FarmVille in the city. Do note that unlike Words With Friends this will not connect to your online game so that way you can pay for stuff in both versions. Um, YAY?
