jessicadally says: I don't watch much TV but what I don't watch in primetime I make up in movies. Either going out or staying in a movie (or yes, even a ton of TV episodes all at once) just seems like an event. Pop the popcorn and get settled in for some apps to make movies that much better.
jessicadally's picks
  1. Fandango Movies – Times & Tickets
Fandango Movies – Times & Tickets Do you remember when we used to have to call the movie theater to find out what was playing? No? Well youngin we did, and it was a horrible repeating voicemail message that you had to listen to over and over again to get everything you wanted to know. Now there's fandango and life is good. Find movies, add favorite theaters even buy ticket. We're spoiled.
  2. PhoneFlicks - Netflix Queue Manager
PhoneFlicks - Netflix Queue Manager This is where most of my movies come from. Well, Netflix. Deliver a movie and don't charge me when I forget to bring it back? Yes please. Let me manage it from my phone so I can add something right when my friend tells me about that great movie they saw last night? Even better!
  3. IMDb Movies & TV
IMDb Movies & TV So what movie was it that included Crispin Glover and Howard Hesseman? You can find that answer here. It may not help you get a movie but it may well help you find one you've forgotten or get more information about a movie you love.
  4. Movies by Flixster, with Rotten Tomatoes
Movies by Flixster, with Rotten Tomatoes Every once in a while Fandango just won't work. Other times this app (also known as Flixster on my phone) won't work. I have them both just to be certain I have the best and most correct information. No one likes to wait if something isn't working. Always have a backup.
  5. Redbox
Redbox OK, maybe you want something that isn't in your queue at netflix. Redbox is for you. They're everywhere and now you can find them and figure out what to watch from your phone.
