NYCWay has more than 50 different apps in it and is FREE on iPhone.

Thanks for this great list. I'd add Subway Gopher to the list. I just tried it. Works great. It would come handy when nothing else seem to work. This app covers all mode of transportation in all corner of NYC and without network connectivity.
