girlgeek25's picks
  1. The Wall Street Journal.
The Wall Street Journal. Gorgeous layout, well-planned and executed. The only bad thing is that they are charging so much for a subscription.
  2. NYTimes for iPad
NYTimes for iPad Wonderful to see such vivid photos accompanying the articles. Nicely done, though I prefer to see not just editors' choice of content but the whole shebang.
  3. Reuters News Pro for iPad
Reuters News Pro for iPad They get it. Simple, pretty UI. Option to browse pictures only or news by category.
  4. USA TODAY for iPad
USA TODAY for iPad I don't often read USA Today, but they have done a good job with their iPad app. Bright, colorful, engaging.
  5. WATCH ABC
WATCH ABC Watch the latest episodes of your favorite TV shows such as Lost on your iPad.
  6. Popular Science+
Popular Science+ They have pushed their UI to the envelope. Not sure if it's usable or not - maybe I just have to get used to it. Reminiscent of early WIRED - hard to read but you think maybe because you don't get it - yet.
