hontzd says: These apps have a great sense of direction (even though I don't).
hontzd's picks
  1. Yelp
Yelp Ever since adding "check in" capability, this app has it all for finding local spots and then telling people you're there.
  2. Gowalla
Gowalla Infinitely more fun and easier to use than Foursquare. But, doesn't have the database of places that Yelp does.
  3. CitySourced
CitySourced What a great idea - use your camera and GPS to tell you city government what needs to get fixed in your neighborhood.
  4. Photo Radar
Photo Radar Every time I park at the airport, I use this app to take a picture of and geotag my parking space. It's a little clunky at times but it's free.
  5. Local Concerts
Local Concerts Easily flnd what bands are playing in your 'hood.
