Best Apps for medical students on the the Internal Medicine Wards  by HospitalistDoc

HospitalistDoc says: The internal medicine ward experience is part of the third year of medical school that is often very challenging. Students often see many patients with complex medical problems, and have to learn quite a bit in a very short time. These apps are selected because they cover many basic areas of internal medicine and would be useful in an internal medicine clerkship. My bias is that of a physician and medical educator who works with clerkship students nearly every day.
HospitalistDoc's picks
  1. Epocrates
Epocrates Great drug reference. Includes the mechanism of action, which is important in educational settings.
  2. Diagnosaurus DDx
Diagnosaurus DDx Great for formulating a DDX.
  3. MedCalc (medical calculator)
  4. Shots by STFM
  5. Eponyms (for students)
  6. Instant ECG: An Electrocardiogram Rhythms Interpretation Guide
  7. Stethoscope Expert

Good list there, though it's missing a few useful onces:
My favourite one as medical student is Visible Body, specially for anatomy. Also, a colleague and I created an app for students in general, but it's especially helpful for med students, called MyCQs, it has almost a hundred MCQs on all sorts of topics with more being added everyday by users. Check out http://www.mycqs.com.com/mcqs/medical
