This is a great list. We'd also love for you to take a look at our new app called iEarnedThat. It's a great parenting tool to help motivate kids. We've found it helpful with anything from getting chores done to eating vegetables and brushing teeth. It make it fun by turning any desired reward into an interactive 3D puzzle. Check it out and thanks for your support!

Great list! Another favorite is Little Sky Writers. Kids fly airplanes around flight paths shaped like letters. They learn their letters (upper and lower case), the correct way to write them, and LOVE doing it! The commentary is hilarious and keeps them cracking up the whole time.
Thanks, it's really useful to have a list because sometimes it feels like a jungle in the appstore!
If you have iPads, I'd recommend Tam & Tao in Numberland, it's a beautiful app (I'd rather my children play with something esthetic) which is fun and smart at the same time. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it because my kids ask for it regularly and I don't feel guilty when I let them play because they're learning ;-)

elemenou, nice list. The license plate game looks like a fun one. Another important one is iTriage. With small children you'll access it all the time.
iTriage is free and gives you information on thousands of symptoms, diseases, and medical procedures in easy to understand language. Plus, it has every hospital, urgent care, retail clinic, physician and pharmacy in the database and can even give ER Wait Times for some hospital ERs.
